Book Launch + Mini Exhibition: Tina's Journey

TinasJourney_outside cover final.jpg
  • Published by the Women's Aid Organisation, Tina's Journey is a collection of words and poetry by survivors of domestic violence. It is the result of author Bernice Chauly’s two-year creative writing workshops with domestic violence survivors at the WAO shelter.
  • Bernice Chauly and WAO's Kelvin Ang curated survivors’ writings to create the character Tina. Artist Chan Wen Li then brought Tina to life.
  • Join us for an afternoon with Bernice Chauly, a poetry reading by Linda Iskandar who survived domestic violence, and an exhibition of Chan Wen Li's works.
  • Tina’s Journey is sponsored by Selangor Properties Berhad, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, KL Writers Workshop, and In den Vremde.
